Sean Wilson
In 1994, Sean enlisted in the United States Navy. In 1995, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he began training in another grappling art called shootfighting. He later moved to Virginia Beach where he met Gustavo Machado, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor from the Gracie Barra Academy in Rio De Janeiro.
Sean trained six days a week with Gustavo. He was successful at winning many tournaments and on June 14, 2004, Sean became the first black belt under Gustavo Machado in Gustavo's twelve years of teaching. Sean became the assistant instructor at Gustavo's Academy, He also began the William and Mary Jiu-Jitsu club at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Sean has also had the opportunity to work with law enforcement, Coast Guard, Navy SEALs and other special-forces groups. He now intends to share his knowledge and philosophy of jiu-jitsu with his friends and students, along with the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices.

Sean Wilson began his training and wrestling in 1989 and continued through high school in Orlando, Florida. He was a 2-time captain of his wrestling team. He was 1st Team All Conference in five different weight classes his senior year, 2-time Florida National Team member in Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling and voted "All Century Team" in the year 2000 by the Orlando Sentinel.
