On April 23, 2007, Brian Beauchamp of Mississauga, Ontario won six straight matches, including three in the Gi and three in the No-Gi division at the 2007 NAGA Submission Grappling World Championships held in Jersey City, New Jersey on the weekend.

Beauchamp, a Toronto Firefighter, is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Judo and a former member of the Canadian National Judo Team. He just started competing in grappling in the last few years. Brian further states that “training with people half my age keeps me sharp, but like all success stories, I owe a lot to my sponsors, training partners and family”. Check out Brian's website.
